Allied Health Professional - Medical Lab Scientist
The Contractor shall provide Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Services which will include: Assisting Providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients within the limits of their clinical laboratory guidelines and medical technology job title professional qualification and within local, federal, and state regulatory requirements. In providing these services, the Contractor shall assume and provide guidance and quality of treatment to patients under the terms of this contract, as provided to the general public.
The Contractor employee(s) will:
1. Reviews Daily Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance Logs.
2. Perform Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist functions such as collect and process
laboratory specimens.
3. Performs Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist functions such as process and analyze
clinical laboratory specimens.
4. Performs Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist functions such as verify and report
laboratory results.
5. Proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory: clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation,
blood bank, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, and molecular testing.
